Portal for the XIX Ibero-American Summit developed in Drupal
Every year the Heads of State and Government of the member countries of the Ibero-American Conference hold a Summit.
The host country proposes a central theme for deliberation by the heads of state and at the end of the meeting, a Political Declaration is traditionally drafted, as well as statements on topics of particular interest.
The main challenge was to develop an institutional portal that:
- Centralized official Summit information;
- Facilitate the accreditation and management of thousands of participants;
- Make content available in real time, including official documents and communiqués;
- Allow online streaming of events and plenary sessions;
- Support simultaneous access by national and international users.
JAVALI developed the portal for the XIX Ibero-American Summit using Drupal, choosing this technology for its robustness, scalability and editorial flexibility.
The solution enabled:
- Online accreditation of delegations, technicians and journalists;
- Continuous updating of content during the event;
- Real-time publication of speeches, official documents and image galleries;
- Live streaming of sessions and full coverage of the event.
The portal developed by JAVALI was crucial to the success of the XIX Ibero-American Summit:
- More than 4,000 people were accredited online through the platform;
- All official content was broadcast live and updated in real time;
- The website provided speeches by Heads of State, official documents and image galleries;
- Media coverage was extensive, bringing together around 850 official delegates and more than 700 journalists from national and international media;
- The infrastructure supported a highly demanding digital operation, without compromising performance or accessibility.
The portal demonstrated Drupal's ability to respond to large-scale, highly complex international projects.

Contribution to the Drupal community
The XIX Ibero-American Summit project allowed the JAVALI team to consolidate its experience in managing large-scale events with Drupal, particularly in developing digital accreditation flows and integrating real-time streaming.
The methodologies applied in this project were subsequently reused and shared internally, reinforcing JAVALI's expertise in highly complex institutional portals.
