JAVALI is pleased to announce the conclusion of another project of national importance, this time in collaboration with the Portuguese Environment Agency, I.P. (APA). The aim of this project was to integrate and adapt the contents of the LIFE Portugal Program and the LIFE CAP PT II project (National Capacity Building Project for the LIFE Program), present on the old website, into the APA's main portal, accessible here.
The LIFE Program is a Community financial instrument created with the specific aim of contributing to the implementation, updating, and development of European Policies and Strategies in the area of the Environment and Climate Action. This is done by co-financing projects with European added value.
With a commitment to ensuring a modern and accessible solution, JAVALI carried out the work on the latest version of Drupal, to provide an intuitive and uncomplicated browsing experience for users.
The project involved several key stages, including designing the visual identity, analyzing and gathering requirements, project management, web design, technical development, testing and content migration. This integrated effort made it possible to create a solution that is easy to update and focused on usability, reflecting the APA's vision for more efficient and inclusive access to its resources.
The Portuguese Environment Agency is the body responsible for implementing environmental policies in Portugal and aims to contribute to a high level of protection and enhancement of the environment by providing quality services to citizens.
In a statement, APA's LIFE team said: "The new website dedicated to the LIFE Program marks a new stage in the dissemination and promotion of this funding instrument and meets the objectives of the LIFE CAP PT II project, presenting a renewed image, with reformulated contents, and a more user-friendly and appealing navigation. By promoting better communication with current and potential new users, through a more intuitive and improved space, it will certainly bring more positive results to the project itself and to the LIFE Program in general."
