Best Deal Upgrades Its Booking System with Drupal 11 and SIBS
Best Deal Car Hire, a leading car rental company in the Algarve, has taken a significant step forward in the development of its digital presence. In partnership with JAVALI, the platform was migrated from Drupal 7 to Drupal 11 and equipped with an integrated payment system via SIBS—two developments that have a direct impact on the user experience and business operations.
The foundation of this project is JAVALI CHS, a proprietary solution developed by JAVALI exclusively for car rental companies. By combining the corporate website and the reservation system into a single platform, JAVALI CHS eliminates the technological fragmentation common in this sector and enables more cohesive and efficient management of the entire digital operation.
The migration to Drupal 11 introduced a more modern, secure architecture that is ready for growth. The integration with SIBS completed the booking process by enabling credit card payments, making it simpler and better aligned with users’ current expectations. At the same time, the design and visual interface were updated—preserving the brand’s identity while adopting a more modern look—and UX/UI and performance improvements were implemented, resulting in tangible gains in navigation clarity and response speed on both desktop and mobile devices.
The project also included the evolution of operational management rules, giving Best Deal greater control over its operations and enabling more effective coordination between the platform and the services provided on the ground.
The result is a more robust, more efficient platform that is ready to keep pace with the business’s growth—built on open-source technology and industry expertise.
