First release candidate for Drupal 8.0.0 released!

Drupal version 8.0.0-RC1 is now available and includes a huge number of new features and improvements, providing a completely new experience for users and developers.

Drupal 8 includes:

• A revamped Drupal user interface;
• Added WYSIWYG and in-place editing;
• Significantly improved mobile support;
• Now includes several key modules including Views, Data and Entity reference;
• Introduced a new object-oriented backend supported by Symfony components;
• Renewed configuration manager;
• Improved multilingual support.

Drupal 8.0.0-RC1 is the collective work of more than 3,200 collaborators.
