CCP website desenvolvido em Drupal pela JAVALI

The Culture Collection of Porto (CCP), a science and technology infrastructure based at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto, has a renewed digital presence in line with current scientific communication requirements in Drupal.

With a vast collection of preserved and classified microorganisms, the CCP is a national and international reference center in support of scientific research and biotechnology. Its mission is to preserve and make available microbial resources, promoting the enhancement of biodiversity and the advancement of scientific knowledge.

The new digital platform was designed to make information about the collection, the services offered and opportunities for collaboration with the scientific and academic community more accessible.

JAVALI developed the solution using Drupal 10, prioritizing performance, security and usability. The website features:

  • Simplified and fully responsive navigation;
  • Clear structure of institutional and scientific content;
  • Highlighted consultation of the microbial catalog;
  • News area and updatable content;
  • Optimized contact and information request forms.

This approach allows the CCP to communicate more effectively with researchers, institutions and partners, reinforcing its role in the national and international scientific ecosystem.

In a statement, the CCP team highlights: "The collaboration with JAVALI on the development of the CCP - Porto Culture Collection website was extremely positive. From the start of the project, the team demonstrated great professionalism, listening skills and a solid technical mastery, managing to rigorously translate the CCP's specific needs into a functional, clear and visually consistent website.

We would particularly highlight the closeness of the support, the flexibility in project management and the speed of response throughout the process, including the support and maintenance phase. The end result fully meets our expectations and is an asset for the dissemination and enhancement of the Collection."
