I4HB, the Associated Laboratory of the Institute for Health and Bioeconomy, is launching its new website, developed by the JAVALI team. This is yet another project in the field of science and research, with enormous potential, that JAVALI has had the pleasure of participating in.

The proposed features and requirements include the possibility of creating and managing content intuitively, the possibility of importing publications in bulk, accessibility for people with visual impairments and a design that adapts (responsive) to different devices (desktop, tablets and smartphones), with a focus on usability.

The CMS (Web Content Manager) used to develop the new i4HB website was Drupal, version 9, and can be accessed via the link https://i4hb-la.pt.

In a statement, the Institute for Health and the Bioeconomy (i4HB) said: "It was a pleasure to develop the i4HB Associated Laboratory website in partnership with JAVALI. At every stage of the project, JAVALI was always very available and flexible, responding quickly to our requests. We would highlight the team's professionalism and friendliness. The result was exactly what we had envisioned."

The Institute for Health and the Bioeconomy is the result of a strategic partnership between three research units: the Institute for Bioengineering and Biosciences (iBB), the Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering - Microsystems and Nanotechnologies (INESC-MN) and the Applied Biomolecular Sciences Unit (UCIBIO), based on solid scientific and technological skills in the emerging and priority areas of Health and the Bioeconomy.

This consortium has been granted Associate Laboratory status by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and aims to contribute to national and international public policies through the dissemination of four Thematic Lines (TL) of research, such as the platform for the discovery and development of medicines, advanced diagnostics and therapies, human health and environmental safety and the valorization of bio-resources and the production of bio-products.

Among the clients for whom JAVALI has already developed science and research projects are I3N(https://i3n.org), Nova Saúde(https://novahealth-chronicdiseaseandinfection.unl.pt), 1D-Neon(https://1d-neon.eu), CEMOP(https://cemop.uninova.pt), UNINOVA(https://uninova.pt) and inNOVA4TECH(https://innova4tech.uninova.pt).
