Ubuntu 10.10 is now available!

The system upgrade for Ubuntu desktops and netbooks already available since 10th October. This new version brings a number of improvements at the interface of the system and application installation. The version for netbooks, for example, has been optimized to fit the smaller screens, and has a simpler interface that provoke the shortcuts as a means of facilitating access to information. Version 10.10 will also support multi-touch for some features easier. According to Canonical, Ubuntu One online service, for desktop ensures interoperability with other operating systems like Google's Android, SOI, Apple, and Microsoft Windows. |
