The ESOP - Association of Software Open Source Portuguesas - has since the 15th of December 2009, a new direction that will be in office during the biennium 2010-2011. Full composition of the governing bodies of the ESOP.

Many goals have been achieved in the first cycle of operation of the association. However, the ESOP for 2010 with a greater will to promote and disseminate open-source software as a sustainable business model.

So for the next 2 years, the ESOP established as major goals for strengthening communication with companies, linking the national and international partners, education / training and special attention to issues of interoperability of national public services.
